Emergence Workshop Healing Program

“Emergence” is a First Nation led, trauma-informed healing program designed to support First Nations women in gently reconnecting with themselves, their inner strength, and their stories. It offers a workshop styled approach inviting to explore the layered experiences of domestic violence, family violence, and lateral violence—not through confrontation, but through shared understanding, storytelling, and self-compassion.
Facilitated in a space of cultural respect and deep listening, Emergence supports each participant to walk at her own pace. There is no pressure to share or disclose—just a safe space to learn, witness, and grow. Through yarning circles, storytelling, creative exploration, and trauma informed practices, women are invited to connect to their voice, their history, and their future.
As part of the broader 6-month program, the learnings from this workshop feed into personal growth, leadership skill development, and creative planning, leading up to a community celebration where women showcase their healing, talents, and strength.
This is not just a workshop. It’s a soft landing place for transformation, cultural renewal, and emergence into confidence.
